Bonny View Tavern

The food was good and the service efficient.  Most of our party ordered from the table and most had trouble with the app.  Took a while for the order to be accepted.

I enjoy eating al fresco and so love that this cafe is all outdoors. We visited on a freezing day and were offered polar fleece blankets to stay warm - used them and they worked a treat. Service was attentive and our meals were enjoyable. I ordered the risotto, which was nice but the pick was the salad with fennel, cauliflower and feta. Its not an extensive menu, but there&#39;s enough on offer to keep everyone happy. I&#39;ve been here before in warmer weather (for breakfast and it was great) and there were water dragons everywhere - fabulous if you like reptiles. There&#39;s a lovely fenced playground for the little ones and the cafe is very family friendly. Whilst the menu is solid and safe, the atmosphere is charming and makes for a very pleasant outing.

There are various meals served, from light breakfast to the hearty meal. A popular meal is the Reel Breakfast which very filling. The coffee served is s must with any meal. The owner and staff are very pleasant and service second to none.

We went to the tavern with a group of friends who like us were travelling in the same area. The menu was good with plenty of choices for steak lovers and there were also some seafood dishes. We all opted for the tempura barramundi available with either chips and salad or vegetables. The fish was very tasty and the serving sizes were large. Service was efficient and prompt. There are gaming areas aside from the dining room and a drive through bottle shop as part of the complex. The prices were very reasonable, seating comfortable and it was an excellent venue for an informal gathering of friends.
